PTA get's positive on-air plug when Fox 29 reporter Katy Zachary interviewed local PTA Presidents at the Feb 12, 2011 PTA Conference of Philadelphia, an event co-sponsored by the Pennsylvania PTA & the National PTA Urban Family Engagement Initiative.
While local PTA leaders and community parents attended workshops, Fox 29 took the opportunity to interview PTA parents and Mayor Michael Nutter regarding the Philadelphia School District's budgetary issues. This story was the second featured report.
