HANNAH KENT SCHOFF FUND
Hannah Kent Schoff was elected president of the National Congress of Mothers in 1902. Known for her organizational skills, pragmatism and practicality, she traveled across the country to help organize local parent associations in public schools. She also lobbied and advocated for more governmental responsiveness to children’s needs.
Pennsylvania PTA’s Hannah Kent Schoff Fund is an endowment fund established to provide program service to all local and council PTAs upon request. Each PTA may request two programs per year, presented by members of the state PTA board of managers at no charge. Contributions to the Hannah Kent Schoff Fund support this service.
Making a contribution to the Hannah Kent Schoff Fund is an excellent way to celebrate Founders Day. In addition, donations can be made to recognize and honor individuals, schools, PTAs or events, such as births, retirements, etc. It could also provide a tribute to a teacher, principal, school support staff or volunteer.A memorial contribution to the Hannah Kent Schoff Fund will honor the memory of a loved one, friend, relative, or colleague with a gift that will help the Pennsylvania PTA to continue to speak for every child with one voice.
Donors will be recognized in PTA in Pennsylvania and will receive an acknowledgement letter from the Pennsylvania PTA State President.
